Salora 500D
This monitor has specifications typical of the Hansol range of monitors, with performance and features suited for general home and office applications. Capable of a maximum resolution of 1024x768, it features a tube with a dot pitch of 0.28mm. Adjustment of image and display characteristics are achieved through buttons on the front panel. These are also used to vary the image size, position, pincushioning and trapezoidal adjustment, in addition to pinbalancing and parallelogram correction. The display in the convergence test showed correct representation in the horizontal and vertical patterns with no noticeable blurring in any area of the screen, though there was a slight blurring of the edges in the signal on/off switching test.
With a good set of features and acceptable performance, the Salora 500D is a good choice for home and office applications.
